The Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre (MFNERC), in partnership with Logics Academy, proudly presents the Embers of Knowledge: A First Nations Digital Learning Summit. This event, designed specifically for MFNERC and MFNSS educators, is happening at the Hilton Winnipeg Airport on March 27th and 28th.
Join us as we explore the intersection of technology and education, focusing on how to effectively integrate digital tools into your teaching practice.
Embers of Knowledge will provide practical insights and hands-on learning, offering insights into using digital tools in culturally relevant ways helping you boost productivity and inspire student engagement. The summit will offer diverse sessions covering a wide range of topics related to educational technology. Participants will learn about various software platforms, explore ways to incorporate STEM and coding into their curriculum, discover the potential of robotics in education, and gain valuable knowledge about using Artificial Intelligence.
With seven concurrent sessions offered in each of the seven time slots throughout this 2 day event, you'll have ample opportunity to tailor your learning experience. The summit will open with an inspiring keynote address by Simon Bird and conclude with a closing dance and drum ceremony, followed by reflections and a prize giveaway.Join us for Embers of Knowledge and ignite the flames of connection between educators, technology, and the vibrant cultures of Manitoba First Nations.
